I was rejoicing from the time since we received the news that there was no school on Monday... until I found out that WE HAVE TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL JUST FOR STATISTICS TUTORIAL. Now I my whole Monday is spoiled because I need 2 hours of traveling time to and from school besides the 2 hour tutorial.. GAHHHH

We're going to have a MS Access this Wednesday and I have absolutely no clue on what to do/ how to prepare. I think I'm lagging behind in BSA and I even had trouble doing the homework the teacher assigned us the last time. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I went for the TJC choir concert and it was nice=) Especially the second half when they sang the songs form Hairspray! Haha and there was this girl in front of us who kept turning back to look at us every time we talked or giggled, I was overcome with annoyance that I contemplated poking her with my Old Chang Kee nugget stick. Then YS was so cute- dancing and singing with a stone face XXDD.
(GOOD MORNING BALTIMORE)
Oh, oh, oh
Woke up today
Feeling the way i always do
Oh, oh, oh
Hungry for something
That I can't eat
Then I hear that beat
The rhythm of town
Starts calling me down
It's like a message from
High above
Oh, oh, oh
Pulling me out
To the smiles and the
Streets that I love

Good morning Baltimore
Every day's like an open door
Every night is a fantasy
Every sound's like a symphony

Good morning Baltimore
And some day when i take to the floor
The world's gonna wake up and see
Baltimore and me~~~ (cont'd)
=)

I shall end off with 2 poems by Robert Frost

A Patch of Old Snow

There's a patch of old snow in a corner
That I should have guessed
Was a blow-away paper the rain
Had brought to rest.

It is speckled with grime as if
Small print overspread it,
The news of a day I've forgotten--
If I ever read it.

Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

This weekend was quite an enjoyable one. Staying once again in a nice hotel, but then again it was quite a busy one. I was staying up till late at night to do... HOMEWORK -________________- See how all the work's piling up mann.. and who said poly was slack? Anyway I've almost completed my marketing project except for one small part that I'm not quite sure about and I haven't printed out all the evidences yet. I need to print evidences from the website, wonder if it's copyright *shifty eyes*

I applied for this Merit Award thing and I have to go for a Psychometric Test. I have a faint idea about what it is but I don't know how I'll fare.. Haha it was so funny, I received only one part of a two-part sms and it went 'y Psychometric test, please refer to your email for more details.' Then I thought what happened and why did I have to go for some psycho test. lol. But I have to miss lesson! Macroeconomics lecture and tutorial. Hope I don't fall behind the others. I mean missing the tutorial is still quite okay.. Cos I can just check the answers with my friends and anyway half of the time I can't hear the tutor, but lectures... never mind, until then..

Aiyo I feel so sorry for my brother. He's going on a school trip to Sarawak on friday and no one can send him off. Mom can't rush back from work on time, Dad has a company party and I have a concert to attend. AHHH.. I guess he'll have to take a cab there himself. Or maybe I can send him there first then take a cab to VCH.

School starts at 8am tomorrow, so I have to wake up at 6. Another day with about 3 hours of sleep. I don't know what's wrong with me, I just can't bring myself to sleep earlier even though I spend most of the day trying to convince myself to sleep early but I'll just end up distracted and yea, I'll sleep late again. I'm getting about 30 hours of sleep every week on average. I know it's kind of unhealthy. I'll try to sleep earlier.

Sir Lancelot: We were in the nick of time. You were in great peril.
Sir Galahad: I don't think I was.
Sir Lancelot: Yes, you were. You were in terrible peril.
Sir Galahad: Look, let me go back in there and face the peril.
Sir Lancelot: No, it's too perilous.
Sir Galahad: Look, it's my duty as a knight to sample as much peril as I can.
Sir Lancelot: No, we've got to find the Holy Grail. Come on.
Sir Galahad: Oh, let me have just a little bit of peril?
Sir Lancelot: No. It's unhealthy.
Sir Galahad: I bet you're gay.
Sir Lancelot: Am not.

On Friday my mom told me last minute that I was going to attend a talk at Shangri-La with (OMG) Mark Mobius as one of the speakers. Yes, and it was a school day and I was dressed in what? A t-shirt, jeans and flip-flops. So I rushed to orchard road to get myself at least a pair of heels. Tried very hard to find a proper top but I couldn't find one that I really liked. But in my hurry, I didn't try on the heels properly. And it was super painful!!! Standing still and climbing/ going down the stairs were quite okay, but the walking was plain torture. But it was a happy sacrifice, apart on gaining more exposure/ insight from the talk, I love being in heels. Gives me an 'edge' over others. Haha. And good thing I got my heels, practically everyone there was dressed formally, I felt so under dressed, THANK GOODNESS I wasn't in flip-flops.

Then on Saturday I wore those heels again to go shopping for a mother's day gift as well as to do some research for my Marketing project. I mean, yeah, those shoes cost $90, pretty sacrifice-able, but since I already bought them, might as well use them, otherwise my mum will complain about it being another one of my only-worn-once-and-never-again shoes haha. I should go put those on sale.
I went and did some shopping at Body Shop and ended up spending more than $130, luckily I'm a member then got discount. After that I asked the sales assistant if I could take a few pictures for my project and she gave me a flat 'NO'. -_________________-
Luckily the wonderful brother of mine helped me to get almost all the brochures in the shop=)
Bought some stuff from body shop and this pretty little basket thing with 10 roses, other small flowers and a cute teddy bear in the centre for my mom.

After dinner. went to RTC and watched Red Cliff 2, then went for supper.. By the time we got home it was already 12+ so I gave my mom her presents and yeah she was pleased.

AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENED TODAY??
My mom found out the price of the presents -______- She got the price of the flowers because I got them from the florist near my house. AND I BEING THE STUPID NINCOMPOOP THAT I AM, FORGOT TO PEEL THE PRICE TAGS OFF THE BOTTOM OF THE BOTTLES.
And my mom went like, no need for you to spend 90+ dollars on presents for me, just giving me a carnation will do. Aiya, all mums are like that, got to act practical, but I think they're all very pleased on the inside. WHO DOESN'T LOVE PRESENTS?

To end it off, WISHING ALL MOTHERS OUT THERE A VERY HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY =)

"I can sense it when you people are using your handphones, my body shivers." XXDD
Quote from my statistics lecturer, quite a funny person, very engaging, unlike the stand-in lecturer we got for marketing today, perhaps she got up on the wrong side of bed today, she was very, I repeat, very strict, and was in a horrid mood "I'M IN NO MOOD FOR JOKES" *inserts austere expression*

Day after day we're get the notices for our respective upcoming ICAs (in class assessments or in short, TESTS)
*PANICflailPANIC*
and OM*G, It's only the third week of school.

Anyway I went shopping last friday and I got some nice stuff
-2 bags (DCP-slurplife/ Billabong)
-2 pairs of jeans (Esprit)
-Top (Zara)
-Watch (Fossil)
Spent about $780 on all my purchases. Haven't shopped like this for about a month!!!

Muahahahaaha.

Still don't know whether to go for the TJC choir concert, I'll be letting YS down if I don't, but then again, I don't want to go alone. AAAHHHHHHH.
